On Saturday, September 30, Cumberland County Cross Country hosted the LPC Conference meet at Lake Land. Both boys and girls placed 3rd overall. All-conference runners from the boys' team were Cameron Roedl and Riley Morgan. Congratulations!

The Lady Pirates Volleyball team will begin LPC tournament play on Monday, October 2 at Decatur Unity Christian. Cumberland plays Unity Christian at 5 PM and Sullivan at 6 PM. Games after Monday night will be played at Argenta Oreana.

Mrs. Lee’s physical science class is learning about the states of matter. The class performed a lava lamp experiment to see how a solid (Alka Seltzer) has a reaction with a liquid (water and oil). The reaction created a lava lamp effect!

The Cumberland County Cross Country team competed at the Tuscola Invitational today. The boys team placed 5th overall. Medaling for the CHS boys were Cameron Roedl, Riley Morgan, Kaleb Bierman, Kade Bradley, and Zach Buescher. Libby McGinnis earned a medal for the girls’ team.
