2020 Cumberland High School Graduation Plan: Graduation Date- Sunday, August 2, 2020 Time - 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm Location - Cumberland High School west parking lot Graduates and family members should enter the school grounds in their vehicles using the main entrance. Cars should follow directions of the police officers to avoid traffic build up on Route 121. A stage will be set up outside the AG shop (just inside the big door if it's raining). Mr. Maynard will announce the name of the graduate. The graduate will walk across the stage to their family members to receive their diploma (student chooses who they wish to hand them the diploma). Students and families will have a professional photo taken by Haley Ralston. (Directions on how to order pictures will be presented with diplomas.) Graduates are allowed to have four individuals on stage with them for the picture. All individuals are asked to stay in their cars until otherwise directed. Please practice social distancing and leave school grounds using the east exit (Yocum’s Road) following the presentation and pictures on the stage.
Due to the limit on the number of individuals we are allowed to have in one place per the recommendation of ISBE and IDPH, we are cancelling this year’s freshman orientation scheduled for August 6. Incoming freshmen and parents wishing to tour the building before the start of school can contact the high school office at (217) 923-3133 to set up a time for a tour.
