To bring awareness of Patriots' Day today, Carrie Verdeyen brought to each school an artifact from the September 11 attacks in New York for the students to view. The metal she brought was part of a beam from one of the Twin Towers. The artifact will soon be housed at the Veterans Memorial in Toledo.
