Today's Regional softball game has been postponed until tomorrow (5/17). The start time will still be 6 PM.
Reminder: There will be no school on Friday, May 19 due to an unused emergency day.
A Cumberland Youth Football Camp will be held from July 17-20 from 5-6:30 PM for students entering grades 4-8. 3rd grade students participating in tackle football may also attend. The camp is $25 and participants will receive a t-shirt. Contact Coach Watkins with questions.

For their final speech in Mrs. Becker's class, Seniors wrote and performed a special occasion speech for their role in a wedding skit.
Michael Beaumont signed his Letter of Intent to play soccer at Eureka College today. Congratulations, Michael!
The Class of 2023 Baccalaureate Ceremony will be held at 5 PM on Sunday, May 14, at the Toledo Christain Church. All seniors and their families are invited to attend.
Congratulations to Cumberland High School’s Katelyn Shoemaker. Katelyn finished second in the long jump at the Newton Sectional and will now compete at the IHSA state track meet at EIU on Thursday, May 18.

Recently, FACS classes have been making pies in Foods II. Students learned how to make homemade pie crusts using both butter & shortening. They made apple, pumpkin, lemon meringue, banana, and chocolate pies. One day they took it easy and made pies with graham or Oreo crusts!
There will be an informational meeting for students in grades 8-11 interested in running cross country in the fall of 2023 on Sunday, May 7, at 2:00 PM in the high school cafeteria.
On Sunday, the National Honor Society held its annual banquet. Congratulations to the new inductees to Cumberland’s National Honor Society!
