Students in Fellowship of Christian Athletes met on March 14 and heard from Coach Roedl, CHS Athletic Director and boys basketball coach. Justin talked to the athletes about choosing their friends carefully and surrounding themselves with friends who share the same values and ideals. He explained that our friends have a huge impact on the decisions and choices that we make. We must surround ourselves with friends who will be a positive influence and help us reach the goals that we have set for ourselves. John Kuebler said, “Show me your friends, and I will show you your future.” Justin also encouraged the athletes to be aware of the impact that their actions and thoughts have on those around them.
Students enjoyed breakfast that was provided by the Toledo Christian Church.
The next meeting will be on Thursday, April 11.
