Students in Fellowship of Christian Athletes met on January 25 and heard from Jenna Hougham, CHS junior athlete. Jenna explained that God has each and every one of us where we are for a reason, and even as one chapter in our lives closes, He is beginning a new one. She reminded the athletes that sports are a PART of who they are, they are not who they are! She encouraged them to push through the waiting seasons of life and know that God’s plan is bigger and better than ours. “We don’t have to have all the answers - God has it figured out so we don’t have to!”
Students enjoyed breakfast that was provided by an anonymous donor.
The next meeting will be Thursday, February 8.
