Students in Fellowship of Christian Athletes met on October 12th and heard from Greg Boldt, CHS Baseball Coach and FCA Sponsor. Greg spoke to the student-athletes about the importance of who they surround themselves with. He explained that those around you either push you or drag you down. On every team, there are athletes who push themselves and work hard to meet their goals, and there are those who do everything to get out of work. The team’s success depends on all of these athletes. Greg encouraged the students to surround themselves with people who will bring them to Jesus instead of pulling them away from Him!
Students enjoyed biscuits and gravy provided by the Toledo Christian Church.
The next meeting will be Thursday, October 26th with guest speaker Allen Darling, CHS senior athlete.
