This week in ELA, the fourth grade students explored the Eureka! Student Inventor unit. Student teams faced an engineering challenge to design a way to lift a standard ping-pong ball from a table, pass it around the group, ensure each member had control for at least three seconds, and deposit it into a cup without touching the ball. Through teamwork and problem-solving, every group successfully met the challenge and earned their collaboration wedge!
