Mark your calendars! Cumberland will begin accepting appointments for the free developmental screenings for two- to five-year-olds, including all incoming kindergarteners, on March 2!
The screenings will be on Monday, March 16, and Tuesday, March 17, at the Toledo Christian Church. You will need proof of residency, a certified copy of their birth certificate, and a current physical, if available. Parents may preregister incoming kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year on the day of screening.

Parents and guardians are invited to complete the annual 5Essentials Survey. This survey is an opportunity to share your thoughts about your child's learning environment, safety, and parent-school relationships. We value your feedback! The survey helps us know what we are doing well and where we can improve.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and is completely confidential. If you have a child in more than one school in the district, please submit a survey for each school. Thank you!
You may complete the survey using this link: https://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/?target_name=parent.

Good afternoon, CCUSD77 family!!
As of now, we are planning on school being in session tomorrow (Friday, January 23), even though the weather is expected to be quite cold.
Please be assured that we are taking the cold temperatures seriously. We will do our best to ensure our buildings are well-heated, and students will spend limited time outdoors while at school. We encourage families to send students dressed appropriately for the weather, including warm coats, hats, and gloves, especially for arrival and dismissal.
As always, we appreciate your continued support and partnership, and we look forward to seeing our students tomorrow!!
